On 30th January 2012, Noel Botha chaired a lively debate entitled ‘Designing a Low Carbon Economy: how hydrogen and fuel cells can help to optimise the UK energy landscape’.
The debate was held by the UK Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Association, in collaboration with Parliamentary Renewable and Sustainable Energy Group and the All Party Parliamentary Group for Intelligent Energy, and featured leading representatives from the fuel cell and hydrogen energy industry:
The debate considered how fuel cells and hydrogen energy are helping to address economic, energy security and carbon reduction goals across the UK and beyond. It also highlighted the need for focused support to help the industry realise its potential and contribute fully to a range of policy objectives.
